Draftin Europe is an independent scouting service started by Mik Portoni and Niki Funa, former scouts for Europe at HockeyProspect.com.

We decided to go into this project to provide deeper and original coverage on European hockey prospects.
Draftin Europe in fact focuses specifically on scouting hockey prospects playing in Europe, following their pre-draft development over multiple seasons, and does it stressing full autonomy to provide rankings and content that are less affected by ‘hype’ than most.

The Blue Dispatch is the digital publication released by Draftin Europe.

In regular years it has at least two releases:

–    the Blue Dispatch Draft Guide, where we present a comprehensive look at the prospects in Europe that we consider relevant for the upcoming NHL Entry Draft.

–    the Summer Blue Dispatch, released ahead of the Hlinka tournament, where we look ‘into the feuture’ to identify and introduce the best talent coming up in Europe for future years, providing pre-season rankings for the next three draft classes.
